LTC BIKE SHELTER

Langford, BC

The goal of this project was to create additional bike storage space for BC Transit employees to safely store their bicycles in a centralized location at the Langford Transit Center. Higginson Consulting was contracted by BC Transit to provide complete project management services for this project from the design to construction of the bike shelter. This project consisted of minor landscaping and paving stone work, to go along with the design and installation of the bike shelter itself. Paving stones were laid to match the adjacent area to allow for easy bike access to the shelter area. A custom timber frame structure was designed and built to suit the location creating a unique bike storage facility. This bike shelter has a 20 bike capacity.
